The Technical Support Specialist maintains, supports, and optimizes Titan's IT systems, hardware, and software to ensure reliable access for employees. This role provides troubleshooting, user support, system security, and assists with onboarding and training, serving as the first point of contact for technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain internal hardware, software, and network systems.
Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
Provide in-person, phone, and remote technical support.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in company systems.
Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure data security, backups, and recovery systems.
Support onboarding by setting up accounts, devices, and training staff.
Document IT processes, maintain manuals, and suggest system improvements.
Stay current with technological trends and recommend upgrades.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; IT/network certifications preferred.
Experience in IT support, system administration, or technical troubleshooting.
Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, helpdesk systems, and general business software.
Knowledge of networking, hardware, and operating systems.
Ability to use tools and equipment for hardware repair.
Clean background with positive work history.
Preferred Skills
Experience with corporate or security-related IT systems.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, cloud systems, and VPNs.
Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects.
Customer service mindset with ability to train non-technical staff.
Team-oriented, collaborative approach.
Working Conditions
Primarily office-based with occasional site visits or equipment installs. Requires sitting for extended periods, light lifting (up to 25 lbs), and working under time-sensitive conditions when resolving issues.
