In this inside Customer Service role, you\'ll have the opportunity to provide exceptional technical support to our valued distributors, contractors, and customers via phone and email. You\'ll be responsible for diagnosing issues, creating effective resolution plans, and keeping detailed records of customer interactions. We\'ll rely on you to stay up-to-date on our product line and ensure that our customers receive accurate information about inventory and availability. In addition to providing technical support, you\'ll play a critical role in identifying opportunities for process improvements and promoting optimal efficiency. You\'ll work with other departments to gain a clear view of our processes and suggest solutions to streamline operations.   • Confers with customers by telephone or email to diagnose issues and help formulate a plan to resolve
  • Keeps records of all customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken from beginning through resolution
  • Understands the company\xe2\x80\x99s product line and stays current on product inventory and availability
  • Opens and submits RMA if malfunction is determined to be a manufacturing defect and item is within warranty
  • Makes calls to customers to ensure that all repair work was completed and that all problems have been resolved
  • Ensures failed units (RMAs) are returned to the factory for analyzation
  • Escalates issues to proper departments or management for resolution
  • Exhibits growth in knowledge and mastery of the company\xe2\x80\x99s line of products and vernacular
  • Collaborates with all departments to take a full scope view of processes and how they flow through necessary systems
  • Identifies change in processes and offers applications and solutions to promote optimal efficiency as MacroAir continues to grow
  • Adheres to all company employment policies and safe practices
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Experience/Training/Education
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-4 years job-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 1-year experience with CRM, ERP, and customer service software
  • Experience in manufacturing and electrical engineering work environment
  • Proficient in general office software such as Microsoft office suite of programs
  • Background in Electronics, Computers preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Communication: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Mathematical: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Special Requirements
  • May be required to work overtime if business necessitates and it is approved
