job summary:
A Technical Service Support Specialist is needed for a global power leader in the Columbus, IN area. This role involves providing technical support, diagnosing and planning repairs, documenting outcomes, managing escalations, and promoting automotive service capabilities, requiring a blend of automotive expertise, technical proficiency, effective communication, problem-solving skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

salary: $18.67 - 25.00 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: High School

responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for less complex warranty and non-warranty repair events.

• Formulate and direct repair plans for less complex cases.

• Document diagnostic and repair results clearly in the appropriate database.

• Manage escalation of complex requests to higher support levels.

• Assist in improving diagnostic support and escalation processes.

• Maintain knowledge of current and new products.

• Promote company service capability and programs to boost sales.

Education and Experience:

• Preferably an Associates degree or higher, but a High School Diploma is the minimum requirement.
