Technical Sales Engineer Tool-Temp US, Inc, Different sales regions (north-east, mid-east, mid-west, south) Tool-Temp US Inc is looking for technical sales engineers to market the Tool-Temp range of water and oil process temperature control products to the USA.
This role will require the individual to perform a variety of tasks which include prospecting using telephone, email, video and also when required visiting new potential customers or existing customers to increase sales in the designated region to increase our market share of products. m/f full-time The right person will also assist and participate as necessary in field technical support calls to educate and assist our potential and new customers in the use of our products in their application. This position will also require participation in national and regional trade shows to expand our product sales into specific markets. Responsibilities o Make sales calls with customers directly to prospect in order to meet sales goals. o Utilize ERP/CRM software to record data forthcoming from sales calls in region daily. o Manage and develop business for process temperature control equipment in region through various prospecting and marketing activities. o Provide updated prospects on a weekly/monthly basis. o Work as part of a team based within the USA and Switzerland. Qualifications o Technical background with experience in technical sales, preferably in the plastic (plastic injection, extrusion, packaging) and/or aluminium (die casting) industry. o Experience and ability to work effectively, acting on own initiative, with minimal supervision requirement. The ability to make decisions. o Ability to work confidentially to prevent potential legal or financial exposure of the company. o Planning and organizational skills with effective follow-up and follow-through. o English language, additional languages are an advantage but not essential. o Excellent communication and presentation skills (orally and written) required o MS Office skills - proficiency, Excel and Word essential. o Requires direct customer contact.
