Technical Program Manager - M&A Integration (Enterprise Applications & Infrastructure)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead enterprise application integration initiatives during mergers and acquisitions. This role requires a strategic leader who can orchestrate complex technical integrations, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure seamless consolidation of IT infrastructure and enterprise systems during M&A activities.
Key Responsibilities
M&A Integration Leadership
Lead end-to-end technical integration planning and execution for M&A activities, including due diligence, Day 1 readiness, and post-merger integration
Develop comprehensive integration roadmaps for enterprise applications, infrastructure, and data consolidation across acquired entities
Assess technical assets, identify integration complexities, and create risk mitigation strategies during pre-acquisition phases
Define integration timelines, milestones, and success criteria aligned with business objectives
Enterprise Applications Management
Oversee integration of core enterprise systems including ERP, CRM, HCM, financial systems, and business-critical applications
Lead application rationalization efforts to identify redundancies, retire legacy systems, and optimize the application portfolio
Coordinate data migration, system consolidation, and application cutover activities with minimal business disruption
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements throughout integration processes
Infrastructure Integration
Direct infrastructure consolidation including cloud environments, data centers, networks, and security architectures
Manage technical dependencies between applications and underlying infrastructure during migration activities
Coordinate with infrastructure teams on capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity during transitions
Oversee identity and access management integration, including Active Directory, SSO, and authentication systems
Program & Stakeholder Management
Lead and mentor a team of program managers responsible for workstream execution across multiple integration tracks
Partner with business leaders, IT leadership, and external consultants to align technical strategies with business goals
Manage executive-level communications, providing regular status updates, risk assessments, and decision-making support
Drive governance frameworks, RACI definitions, and change management processes across integration programs
Risk & Change Management
Identify technical, operational, and organizational risks; develop mitigation plans and contingency strategies
Lead change management initiatives to ensure user adoption and minimize resistance during system transitions
Establish and monitor KPIs to measure integration success, system performance, and business value realization
Conduct post-integration reviews to capture lessons learned and refine integration playbooks
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $90.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: On the road
