We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner with a strong product background to support our Authorizations technology team. This person will represent business needs for engineering teams, ensuring understanding of how the product works and is used in the industry. You will bridge the gap between technical and business requirements, identifying edge cases and clarifying requirements before development starts. This role requires close collaboration with cross functional teams to ensure development and projects are progressing as planned.

To be qualified for this position you:Have 3-5 years of experience working in a Product Owner position within the healthcare technology space. This is required to be considered for the role.
Have strong familiarity with healthcare transactions (X12) and standards: HL7/FHIR. This is required to be considered for the role.
Have experience working in Agile/Scrum environment / leading agile ceremonies.
Can gather technical and functional requirements and have experience writing user stories.
Have worked in AWS.
Have strong communication and organization skills.
Can prioritize and work on concurrent projects at a given time.
Can work independently.
Can adapt to changing priorities and ambiguity.

You will be:Representing business needs and ensuring engineering teams understand product functionality and industry use cases.
Analyzing and clarifying requirements, especially edge cases, before development begins.
Keeping engineers focused on business priorities and preventing unnecessary technical diversions.
Participating in backlog management, standups, and Scrum meetings.
Facilitating communication between engineering and business stakeholders, including occasional client (payer) interactions as needed.
Helping resolve implementation challenges and support cross-team collaboration when required.
