We are looking for:

  • Accountable for the Site project engineering and Site technical functions.
  • Leads Site technical and engineering functions to identify, develop, and implement improvement initiatives to improve HSE, cost, and productivity.
  • Actively engages in the development and implementation of plan to fundamentally improve Site manufacturing processes, systems and capacities, and lead selected plan objectives.
  • Provides direction and leadership of site technical resources to achieve the fundamental and incremental improvement plans.
  • Champions advancement initiatives in the areas of Safety, Zero Defect, Customer Service and Operations Improvement through utilization of a continuous improvement culture.
We count on you for:
  • Leads department technical teams to provide support and achieve unit metrics (HSE, Quality, Productivity) as well as technical support to operating units when existing processes are not capable of meeting standard requirements.
  • Ensures team resources are adequate to achieve plan.
  • Ensures team members are qualified and meet expectations.
  • Leads technical team in identifying, developing, and driving fundamental improvement plans.
  • Leads the development of the departmental operating plan (budget, Key X\'s).
  • Develops and manages the Site technical and capital plans.
  • Professional and career development of direct reports.
  • Conformance to all safety, quality, customer, regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Within six (6) months of employment, complete various training for regulatory requirements and hazardous waste management procedures relevant to this position, and complete any required refresher training thereafter.
  • This position may further include responding to emergencies, requiring familiarization with emergency procedures, emergency equipment, and emergency systems. ENV107A Hazardous Waste Personnel Training Matrix for additional training information.
  • Member of Site Leadership Team.
You will bring:
  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10 plus years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have demonstrated troubleshooting and project management experience.Must possess leadership competencies in Confidence, Courage, Conviction, Delegation, Empowerment and Team Effectiveness.
  • Possess ability to mentor and teach others in technical processes and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to interact effectively with managers and technical experts on and off-site.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Highly developed analytical skills.
  • Requires regular, dependable attendance.
You will get:
  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $115,000.00 to $145,000.00. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
  • 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations.
