Technical Document Specialist

Summary:

This position is a fully qualified professional, who uses professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways. This person will be held accountable for independent decision-making and must possess the ability to change priorities based on business needs. The incumbent must develop alternative solutions to problems, handle complex problems independently and demonstrate consistent application of technical knowledge and or regulatory knowledge. This position will be responsible for executing assignments of medium complexity, and developing solutions for defined problems by communicating effectively at all levels.

This person will work in close collaboration with the CAPEX office in Spain, as well as Grifols Engineer, GT, Finance, R&D and Facilities, and other Grifols sites to carry out the following responsibilities:

  • Support project engineers by entering Purchase Requisition and performing Goods Receipt
  • Review RCE requests from all departments mentioned above ensuring all fields are completed and meet CAPEX office policies
  • Create RCE request into SAP; allocate funding, attach supporting documentation and route it for approval
  • Maintain Forecast information in the SAP by contacting the requestor and updating the system to meet Fixed asset requirements
  • Analyze, prepare, and execute closure of capital expenditures as required by Finance and Fixed Assets departments.
  • Generate and distribute weekly RCE status report
  • Develop, maintain and provide visual and technically written content on guidelines, processes/flow related to capital expenditure requests and SAP system
  • Provide technical support with troubleshooting in SAP system in collaboration with the main CAPEX Office
  • Keep users informed of changes in the SAP system or CAPEX requirement/processes
  • Provide impromptu information regarding RCE status
  • Maintain Long Range Plan (LRP) information up to date with actuals and forecasts
  • Provide support to GT, R&D, B85, & Facilities with auxiliary purchases
  • Assemble Engineering times (CATS) from all GE engineers and upload in SAP with accuracy
Additional Responsibilities:

Education/Experience:

Minimum Education: Bachelor\'s Degree Professional registration and/or certification as appropriate. 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Equivalency:

Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements. Example: If a job level requires a Bachelor\'s degree plus 4 years of experience, an equivalency could include 8 years of experience, an Associate\'s degree with 6 years of experience, or a Master\'s degree with 2 years of experience.
