Position Summary



We are seeking a

Customer Service Representative

to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the liaison between Teknicote and our customers -- managing order entry, coordinating shipments, handling inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction from start to finish. This position plays a key role in maintaining our commitment to quality and on-time delivery.

Shift:

5:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Training Schedule:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Location:

On-site in the Shipping & Receiving area

Work Environment:

This position is located near a bay door; the work area may be subject to temperature extremes (hot or cold) depending on the season.

A strong sense of urgency and attention to detail are essential.


Responsibilities



Enter customer orders into the system accurately and efficiently Greet customers and handle inquiries in a professional manner Track and communicate order status and delivery updates Generate shipping documents for UPS, FedEx, and LTL shipments Maintain filing systems and assist with year-end document purges Communicate customer requests, rush orders, and changes to the production team Record and document customer complaints via phone and email Receive incoming materials using company software Assist with month-end inventory reports Support compliance with ISO 9001 requirements (document control) Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications



Minimum 4 years of experience in a Customer Service role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with E2 ERP or other ERP systems preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and customer-focused demeanor Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Proven ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team to improve processes, quality, and safety Commitment to exemplifying and promoting our BEST values and culture of quality, customer service, safety, and teamwork
