consecutive years, is currently seeking a motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our IT Department in Waterville. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operation of our Help Desk, supporting staff encountering computer-related issues. You will troubleshoot software and hardware problems, providing clear and effective communication to users with varying levels of technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:



Troubleshoot and resolve software/hardware issues for staff members. Provide technical assistance and guidance to staff at all levels of computer proficiency. Conduct new hire IT training, to include basic orientation, user account setup, and equipment configuration and deployment. Support users through Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, phone systems, and other software installations.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree preferred, or an Associate's degree in a computer-related field with at least 2 years of computer support experience (Experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis). Solid knowledge of Windows 10 and 11, network protocols, and computer hardware and peripherals. Experience with Windows server technology and telecommunications systems is preferred.
