Tech II - Experienced

Job Summary

As a Technician II, you will independently provide accurate, efficient service to customers by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and professionally repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers. This position requires advanced mechanical knowledge, experience, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high safety and customer service standards.

Hourly pay PLUS commission. Housing available.

In this role, you can expect to:

Work in a results-driven, professional environment focused on providing superior customer service. Apply extensive knowledge of diesel repair and maintenance to diagnose and resolve wear conditions and mechanical issues. Independently perform repairs and services within your skill set and as outlined. Communicate repair recommendations to customers clearly and professionally. Follow and uphold Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs. Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations. Understand and carry out oral and written directions. Maintain cooperative working relationships. Demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population.

What we'd like to see:

A dedicated and experienced individual who takes pride in their work and contributes to the team's success. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a repair or parts shop environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Advanced mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting abilities. Proficiency with basic computer systems used in diagnostics and reporting. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays, in various weather conditions. A valid driver's license and clean driving record. A polished and professional resume demonstrating relevant experience and achievements.

Typical Physical Demands

Regular standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. Lifting up to 50 lbs and/or moving heavy objects.
