Teal's Market in Gwinner, ND, seeks a dedicated, Shift Manager to join our team. As a Shift Manager, you will oversee store operations during the 4 pm-9 pm shift on weekdays, 2-9 on weekends, and 3-5 days a week. Responsibilities

Assign tasks to associates during the shift and ensure timely completion. Call in replacements for team member absences or no-shows. Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally. Maintain a clean and organized storefront. Perform cashier and personal shopping duties as needed. Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction with the service provided. Promote specials, sales, and the Teal's Market App to customers. Manage cash intake and count out registers at the end of cashier shifts. Communicate regularly with the store manager regarding customer concerns, associate issues, and other significant matters. Sign for deliveries when necessary. Adhere to and enforce company policies and guidelines. Assist in associate training and onboarding.

Qualifications

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing cash drawers and registers. Authoritative but fair leadership qualities. Friendly and calm demeanor. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work well with a team. Comfortable handling and counting money. Ability to provide clear instructions to associates. Efficient and strong time-management skills. Capable of lifting and moving boxes.
