Job Summary:

Bussers support the dining room by clearing and cleaning tables, resetting them for the next guests, and maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness and appearance.

Responsibilities:

Promptly clear and clean tables between guests Reset tables with proper settings Assist servers with water refills and other guest needs Keep floors, restrooms, and dining areas clean and organized Restock service areas with napkins, silverware, and condiments

Qualifications:

Strong work ethic and team mentality Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs

Job Summary:

Dishwashers ensure all dishes, utensils, and cooking tools are clean and sanitized, while helping maintain a clean and organized kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently Clean dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans Maintain cleanliness of dish pit and kitchen floors Take out trash and follow sanitation procedures Assist with kitchen prep or restocking as needed

Qualifications:

Reliable and punctual with a team-player attitude Able to handle physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long shifts) Basic understanding of cleanliness and sanitation practices

3. Line Cook -

Job Summary:

Line Cooks are responsible for preparing meals according to Black Bear Diner recipes, ensuring high food quality, proper presentation, and fast service.

Responsibilities:

Cook and assemble menu items to order Follow recipe and portion control guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations Ensure food safety, hygiene, and quality standards Assist with prep work, restocking, and kitchen cleaning

Qualifications:

Experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

4. Host -

Job Summary:

Hosts are responsible for creating a warm, welcoming experience by greeting guests, managing seating, and handling takeout orders.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests with a smile and positive attitude Manage the waitlist and seat guests efficiently Communicate wait times and assist with takeout orders Answer phones and help with guest inquiries Maintain cleanliness of host stand and entrance

5. Cashier -

Job Summary:

Cashiers handle all guest transactions and ensure a smooth checkout or takeout experience while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests and process payments accurately Package and hand off takeout orders Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier station Balance cash drawer and follow cash handling procedures Provide prompt, courteous service

Qualifications:

Prior cashier experience preferred Basic math and cash handling skills Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset

6. Server -

Job Summary:

Servers deliver a positive guest dining experience by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the visit.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests, take food/beverage orders accurately Provide menu recommendations and upsell when appropriate Deliver food promptly and check in during the meal Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally Work with bussers and hosts to maintain a clean dining room

Qualifications:

Previous serving experience preferred Strong communication, multitasking, and people skills Knowledge of food safety and customer service principles
Must be 18+
