Duties

Prepare and assemble food items efficiently following established recipes and safety guidelines Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist in food handling duties, including packaging, portioning, and ensuring freshness of ingredients Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as food prep, serving customers, and managing retail or grocery sections

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience working in quick service or fast food restaurants is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work collaboratively within a team
