Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Back of House Team Member to join our kitchen staff. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our food preparation processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with fellow team members to deliver high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as directed by the kitchen lead. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all meals are prepared in a safe and sanitary manner. Use kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and cooking appliances. Support the team by helping with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to food preparation and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety practices. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking and kitchen operations. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with kitchen work.

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
