Chick-fil-A Bucktown is seeking talented hospitality and food industry professionals to assist in the startup of one of Chick-fil-A's first free-standing restaurants inside of Chicago. We sell amazing and delicious products. Our desire is to serve to make a difference in all the lives we come in contact with. NOTE: Candidate must be willing and equipped to work outside. The restaurant is equipped with a drive-thru canopy and outdoor heaters but the team member will be exposed to the elements.

Operational Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Take ownership of the Chick-fil-A brand and purpose by being good stewards and having a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A Take ownership of your own proficiency in the following areas: dining room, drive-thru, register/order taking, fulfilling beverage and dessert orders, expediting/bagging, cleaning checklist, and opening/closing tasks (if applicable) Be proactive in your shift for setting up the team for success (i.e. stocking, cleaning, etc.) Always arrive in full uniform and be ready to serve guests upon your scheduled time Download and actively check/use Restaurant Apps Follow all policies written in the team member handbook Promote a friendly, welcoming, and inclusive work environment Always have a "I will serve anywhere!" mentality Possess a positive attitude with guests, peers, and leadership Always be open to feedback and keep an open line of communication with leadership Consistently look for ways to serve others

Team member responsibilities are not limited to the ones listed above. From time to time, team members may be required to perform additional duties to support business demands

Team Member additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Dishwasher Handling Raw and Ready-to-Eat Foods Executing high Food Safety standards and practices Truck Unloading Routine cleaning and maintenance of the facility and restaurant equipment

Minimum 18+ years old Team-oriented Friendly High Integrity Great customer skills Flexible Able to multi task Must be available to work a minimum of 5 days (including Friday and Saturday), Open or Closing Availability, minimum of 37 hours a week Must be willing to work Friday and Saturday


In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day. Whole lemons are freshly squeezed in our restaurants and combined with pure cane sugar and water (yep, that's all) to make Chick-fil-A Lemonade. It may not be the easy way, but it's the only way we know.
