Full-time Team Leader Infectious Disease position; 40.0 hours per week wirh full comprehensive benefits. Salary/exempt, $33.70 hourly ($2,696 biweekly).

This position is responsible for the planning, day-to-day operation, evaluation and management of the Infectious Disease work unit. The programs included in this work unit are epidemiology, disease intervention/targeted prevention (investigation of new syphillis and HIV cases, indentification of individuals who would benefit from STD testing due to contact with a case or risky behaviors, and STD testing). The incumbent will lead the planning of this work unit and set goals for the programs under their purview and define action steps for meeting the goals. They will evaluate staff on the performance of their job duties related to meeting the program goals and objectives. The incumbent will also develop procedures related to work unit functions, educate staff, and hold staff accountable for following both program and department policies and procedures. Infectious Disease Team Leader will serve as the Regional Epidemiologist for LFCHD.

Required: Master\'s degree in Public Health, Public Administration or comparable field with 3 years related experience; or Bachelor\'s degree in Public Health, Public Administration or comparable field with 5 years related experience. Must have two or more years of supervisory experience.

Experience required: Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary group in settings and provide leadership and guidance to positions focused on infectious disease prevention and survillance. Related experience includes a combination of some or all of the following program areas; epidemiology, targeted disease prevention and investigation (STD).
