Position Summary

As the

Team Leader - Docks

, you'll be the driving force behind our dock operations--leading a dedicated team, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with key departments to keep shipments moving smoothly. This is a high-impact role where your leadership will directly influence productivity, safety, and team morale.

What You'll Do

Lead and motivate dock team members to hit performance goals and maintain a safe, efficient workspace. Champion safety by enforcing OSHA and company protocols--your team's well-being is your priority. Collaborate with the scale house and sales department to streamline inbound and outbound shipments. Troubleshoot workflow issues and keep operations running like a well-oiled machine. Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching to build a high-performing team. Keep accurate records of shipments, team metrics, and safety incidents. Foster a positive, collaborative culture where everyone feels valued and empowered.

What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent; logistics or safety certifications are a plus. Proven experience in dock operations or warehouse leadership. Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards. Excellent communication and organizational skills. A natural ability to lead, inspire, and get things done in a dynamic environment. Comfort with basic computer systems and inventory software.
