Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.
What steps should you take if you suspect you've received a fraudulent text?

• Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
• If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.

Helping you stay secure - how to recognize a scam

• Elwood Staffing does not utilize mobile apps or messenger services to connect with job seekers. We will not reach out to you through or suggest that you use WhatsApp or other messaging platforms outside of regular SMS text messaging for communication.
• Our recruiters will never ask for personal information such as your social security number, date of birth, or bank information prior to onboarding. During onboarding you will enter your information and passcode protect it.

Team Lead w/ Manufacturing Experience Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $24.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Thursday from 05:45am to 04:15pm)

• Supervise and support production team members assembling tables and chairs.
• Assign daily tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure quality and efficiency standards are met.
• Train new employees on processes, tools, and safety procedures.
• Communicate with management on production goals, issues, and progress.

Team Lead w/ Manufacturing Experience Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role within manufacturing required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on production environment.
• Resume and in-person interview required prior to placement.

• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
