Lead the team to execute to all safety, quality and delivery expectations.

Receive completed XPO (Out for Processing) purchase orders
Assess daily production requirements and move manpower to meet customer demands.
Utilize the AS400 system to verify order requirements and inventory info.
Make decisions that balance top notch customer service with managing costs.
Perform material handling duties.
Back up supervisor and support with training initiatives
Coordinate with warehouse staff, other depts to best use our resources.
Verify production requirements are met.
Verify inventory is being managed correctly.
Introduce or sustain process enhancements to boost efficiency and productivity.
Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 3+ years' of previous experience in a service center environment.
Able to lead teams in fast paced environment with safety as priority.
Strong organizational skills with ability to plan and execute special projects to gain operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Willingness to learn continued skills/safety knowledge.
Ability to assist, when requested, in the interview or review process of operations staff.
Ability to communicate with other Dept in a timely and professional manner.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to solve problems, prioritize work and switch directions as needed based on business demands.
Intermediate computer skills including proficiency with AS400, Excel and Email.
Good communication skills and work with positive attitude.
Attention to detail

Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:
Intermediate computer skills including proficiency with AS400, Excel and Email.
Proficient at the operation of steel handling/processing equipment including but not limited to shear, saw, bar or other cutting equipment.
Proficiency using RF Scanner.
Experience operating all equipment safely and effectively - including certification for forklifts and overhead cranes, as well as training for side loaders including miscellaneous electric, pneumatic, and manual hand tools.

Spend 80% of the day standing and moving around.
Bending, stooping, and pushing.
