We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support our educators in providing high-quality education to students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with diverse learners, including those with special needs. This role is essential in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children.

Duties

Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and curriculum development tailored to meet the needs of all students. Provide care and supervision for toddlers and young children, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day. Support students with various learning styles, including those on the autism spectrum, by employing individualized teaching strategies. Facilitate small group activities that promote social skills, emotional development, and academic growth in subjects such as math. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress and classroom activities. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills in childcare and early childhood education.

Qualifications

Experience working with students in daycare or childcare settings is preferred. Knowledge of Montessori methods or private school educational practices is a plus. Strong understanding of curriculum development for early childhood education. Ability to provide compassionate care for toddlers and young children. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Patience, creativity, and a passion for fostering a love of learning in children. A background in math or related subjects is advantageous.
