Job Description
St. Ursula School in Parkville, Maryland, is seeking a candidate for a 4th grade teaching position. The teacher will serve as a full-time teacher in our Catholic School. The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing standards-based lessons as prescribed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement lessons consistent with the Archdiocesan curriculum guidelines
- Integrate the use of technology effectively into the curriculum
- Communicate with parents in a professional and timely manner
- Participate in faculty meetings, committee meetings, professional development
- opportunities, and retreats
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers to plan and implement
- lessons based on student needs
- Assess students fairly and regularly
- Actively supervise students at all times. Perform non-teaching related duties such as recess and lunch duty and parking lot duty
- Maintain professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Qualifications:
- Current MSDE certification
- Strong technology skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
