Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that fosters academic growth and personal development for students of all ages and abilities. The Teacher will be accountable for lesson planning, instructing students, and assessing their progress.

Duties

- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the needs of children.
- Utilize OKDHS requirements and QRIS( Quality Rating Improvement Systems Requirements).
- Teach students literacy education and promote a love of reading daily.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive and respectful environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students.
- Foster a sense of community among students, parents, and teachers.

Skills

- Experience working with students of all ages is a plus although training will required within 90 days of hire.
- Strong lesson planning skills.
- Experience with early childhood education and an understanding of the unique needs of young learners.
- Experience with behavior management and the ability to create a positive and respectful classroom environment.
- Commitment to educating students in a way that is engaging, interactive, and relevant to their lives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.00 - $15.00 per hour
