We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves working closely with students to promote their academic and personal growth, ensuring that each child reaches their full potential.
Duties
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain an orderly learning space.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as needed.
Incorporate literacy education strategies to enhance reading and writing skills among students.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to build strong relationships within the school community.
Stay informed about childhood development principles and apply them in daily interactions with students.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve instructional methods.
Working with children ages newborn to 8 years old
Coping with the unexpected
Diapering/Potty Training
Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom
Experience
Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with lesson planning, early childhood education, and classroom management techniques is essential.
Experience in private school or Montessori environments is a plus.
Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices will be beneficial.
Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
A background in daycare settings can also be advantageous for understanding the needs of young learners.
Required
Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or be able to obtain one
Highschool Diploma/GED
Negative TB Test, which can be obtained at most medical offices or the Health Department
CPR/First Aide Desired
Be able to pass a background check
