An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.




6.5 hours/day




Candidates for this position must be Highly Qualified through one of the following:


Have obtained an Associate's degree, or higher from a nationally or regionally accredited institution of higher education, documented through transcripts; OR Completed a minimum of 48 college credits from a nationally or regionally accredited institution of higher education, documented through transcripts; OR Passed the ParaPro assessment with a minimum score of 455. Documentation of test score must be submitted.

JOB SUMMARY: This position is involves paraprofessional work that requires the teacher assistant to assist the classroom teacher in performing a variety of tasks after training, i.e., emergency plans, health-related plans/services, behavioral plans and carrying out instructional procedures. The work is performed under the direct supervision of the teacher and/or building administrator. The employee must interact with students, parents, and staff in a positive manner.





SALARY: Hiring Range: $20.40 - $31.83/hour ($24,934 - $38,897/year)
