Job Description

Searching for the right candidate to assist at an in-home daycare as a lead teacher, and/or Teachers Assistant. We are searching for someone who truly loves working with children and is patient, reliable, high energy, fun, and creative.

-Must be available to work mornings, and/or afternoons.

-20-30 hours per week.

-Off holidays

Primary Skills:

-Primarily teaching and caring for toddlers and preschoolers ages 2-5

-Develop and deliver curriculum, lesson plans, and provide lead activities

- Perform a variety of preschool activities

(lead circle time with 7 children or more, conduct a short preschool class to our early learners)

-Take on the lead teacher role and/or able to assist the lead teacher

-Position requires full mobility with the ability to lift between 20 and 40 pounds on a regular basis (Toddlers weight)

Requirements:

- Must be 21 years or older

-Mandated Reporter Certification

- CPR/First aid Certified (or must obtain before hire)

- Background / Fingerprint clearance- Live scan (or must obtain one before hire)

- TB Test clearance (or must obtain one before hire)

Duties will include but not limited to:

- Supervise and interact with the children

- Perform a variety of preschool activities

(e.g. lead circle time with 7 children or more, conduct a short preschool class to our early learners, arts & crafts, organize both indoor and outdoor age appropriate games/activities, utilize the learning centers and perform changes depending on lesson theme and plans)

- Cleaning, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, dumping trash

- Sanitize toys and equipment

- Prepare & serve food

- Supervise children to ensure safety and attend to any needs necessary

- Diaper changes

Pay: $16.50 per hour
