We are looking for a team member that is great with clients and motivated to work efficiently and open to learning. This individual must be detail-oriented, organized, have the ability to effectively communicate and be willing to help out as needed. In this position you would be expected to handle a work load of multiple clients in which you prepare all of their accounting needs including: financial reports, sales and use tax, payroll taxes, and personal and business tax returns. Management is available to support and facilitate with learning and questions. Description:
The applicant's principal functions are bookkeeping, data entry, payrolls, and sales tax filing, tax return preparation along with great customer service.
Responsibilities include:
- Entering data into QuickBooks
- Reconciliations
- Producing financial reports
- Payrolls
- Payroll tax filings
- Sales tax filings
- Tax data entry and preparation
- Other accounting tasks
- Assisting with other projects as needed
- Tax return input for individual and business returns
Required skills:
- Ability to understand accounting principles and bookkeeping
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Effective communications skills
- Ability to research complex tax situations to apply to tax return preparation
