Job Summary

Join our team and help inform clients to make confident, informed decisions about their lives and money. As a Tax Preparer Assistant, you will play a key role in building strong client relationships and ensuring superior service throughout the tax preparation process.

Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client information and W-2 data into our tax program. Follow Up with Clients with Missing information to Calling Past Clients Help close out the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, and reviewing the finished product with the client. Complete all necessary bookkeeping and filing procedures. Ensure every client receives an exceptional service experience. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Experience

High school diploma or equivalent Strong reading and math skills to assist with the tax return process. Additional coursework in math, accounting, or finance. Excellent communication skills, both in-person and over the phone. Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs. Ability to comply with additional state and local requirements as they apply. Prior experience in marketing or sales within a financial services environment is a plus
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
