The role of Tax Intern will be to utilize educational background and organization skills in the service of the firm's client base through the preparation of returns and extensions under the supervision of more experienced tax service professionals. This opportunity will allow Interns to gain a unique hands-on perspective of our firm's practices and people, as well as begin to forge the critical relationships that will help maximize the chance for success in their career.
Responsibilities:
Work with Excel to organize accounting information and complete required computations.
Work with tax software applications to input data.
Prepare work papers to support computations and figures used in the tax process.
Support the tax department with various projects.
Work with staff to prepare individual tax returns, and possibly corporate tax returns.
Other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting, or other relevant field, at an accredited college/university required.
Pursuing a Masters degree in Accounting, or other relevant field, preferred.
A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Comfortable working with numbers.
Follows instructions as directed.
Possesses a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
