Wooden Hill Brewing Company is hiring Taproom Kitchen Staff to join our high-volume, fast-paced open kitchen. You'll cook, prep, and interact with guests as they pick up food at the counter, helping us deliver great food that matches our beer and hospitality.

This is a tipped position with typical total compensation averaging

$21-$28+ per hour

, plus excellent beer, food, and employee/family discounts.

About the Role

You'll be part of a small, collaborative culinary team in one of the few breweries in Minnesota with its own full kitchen. Our taproom is busy, growing, and frequently in the local spotlight. If you enjoy cooking, staying busy, and being around craft beer and great people, this is your lane.

Key Duties

Cook and serve guests from our open kitchen line during lunch and dinner service Become fluent on all line stations, with the ability to fully prep and execute each station as needed Follow established recipes, portion standards, and plating guidelines Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen in accordance with Minnesota Department of Agriculture regulations and internal standards Learn and correctly execute all opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures Assist with prep work (chopping, portioning, labeling, restocking, etc.) Support dishwashing, cleaning, and side work as needed to keep service running smoothly Communicate clearly with team members and taproom staff to ensure timely, accurate orders Interact with guests at the counter in a friendly, professional manner
Must Haves

21+ years old

(it's a brewery and yes, we do sample the beer sometimes) Cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen is preferred but not required Professional appearance and work ethic Strong team mindset; you value working in a collaborative environment Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Flexible schedule with availability for afternoon-evening shifts

Consistent weekend availability is required

Comfortable interacting with guests in a friendly, professional way Genuine enthusiasm for local craft beer and food Curiosity and willingness to learn, improve, and innovate
Schedule

Part-time and full-time opportunities available Afternoon and evening shifts Weekends required; some holidays and busier event days as needed Specific schedules will be discussed during the interview

Pay: $21.44 - $25.82 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
