About the Role
WEEKENDS ONLYWe're looking for a skilled and customer-focused
In-House Tailor
to join our team. This position plays a key role in providing professional alterations and ensuring the perfect fit for our clients. When tailoring services are not required, you'll also support the sales floor, assisting customers and maintaining store presentation.Tailoring & Alterations
Perform fittings, alterations, on formal wear dresses to meet customer expectations. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workspace for tailoring services. Ensure all alterations are completed on time and meet company quality standards.
Sales & Customer Service
Assist customers on the sales floor when tailoring workload is light. Support day-to-day store operations, including merchandising, organizing displays, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a tailor, seamstress/seamster, or alteration specialist. Strong sewing and garment construction skills (hand and machine). Good understanding of garment fitting and fabric types.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
Work Location: In person
