Job Summary:




The Systems and Network Analyst is an expert in their assigned responsibilities and is


able to work on multiple projects with minimal direction and supervision.

Special Considerations:




Preference will be given to those with direct lead experience with the following:

Experience (Minimum 1yr) configuring and maintaining firewalls Experience (Minimum 1yr) configuring and maintaining core routers and switches Experience (Minimum 1yr) configuring and maintaining wireless controllers

Essential Job Requirements - Qualifications:



Classroom experience preferred. Third-party integration experience. Google Apps integration and maintenance experience. Familiarity with Windows and CB deployment. Windows server management experience. Ability to work cooperatively and harmoniously as a team member. Ability to plan, organize, and work without close supervision. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with District personnel and the public. Maintain confidential information and the privacy of District staff, students, and families. Carries out work responsibilities effectively under pressure of deadlines, interruptions, and new or emergency situations. Ability to work with a diverse population. Ability to respect confidential information. Computer skills to include use of word processing programs, database programs and Google products. Database management and administration experience. Experience with eRate

Essential Job Functions:



Aid in implementing cybersecurity measures, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans. Coordinate, schedule and perform server maintenance and management activities. Monitor server performance, storage and logs; and create and maintain documentation for network and servers Receive and respond to incoming calls, emails, alerts or other communications regarding network/server/system operations and/or problems. Remain current on existing and emerging technologies. Provide file server support including configuration, authorization, access, and information security. Assist in the development and maintenance of District technical standards for networking and computing systems. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by participating in professional development activities. Assist in the implementation of the District's technology plan. Assist in determining technical training needs of staff and provides necessary training to staff members. Assist with the determination of the feasibility of technology projects and advises the staff on the expenditure of funds to support such projects. Coordinates others in the implementation of technology projects working with vendors to assure that equipment and services are delivered as required. Responsible for being familiar with the school/district policies and procedures that govern the work. Prompt and regular attendance is required.

Other Job Functions:



Performs other tasks as assigned. Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities. Participate in various meetings and professional development activities for the purpose of sharing information and/or improving one's skills/knowledge.

Work Environment:



The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee may be exposed to bloodborne pathogens. The noise level in the work environment varies but is usually moderate.

Terms of Employment:

Current work year of approximately 260 days (12 month), subject to change. Salary and benefits and working conditions as determined by the District Board.
