The Work

Our Radar Systems Engineering team is seeking a candidate to support the integration, test, and verification of high performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. The Radar Systems Engineer will:

Apply advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts to develop revolutionary system solutions. Support integration and test, evaluate test results, investigate discrepancies, provide technical assessment of anomalies, and drive issues to resolution. Conduct system verification and support certification activities. Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to accomplish technical objectives Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership on technical matters as required. Have strong analytical and communication skills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment. Be comfortable working in hands-on laboratory or field environments. Shift work may be required This position involves the ability to travel

domestically and internationally as needed to

support site installs, checkout and integration

testing.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical

Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering,

Physics or equivalent degree combined with 5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of related experience

Functional knowledge of radar systems,

subsystems and components

Experience with integration and test of Active Electronically Scanned

Arrays (AESA)

Experience in the integration and test of Solid

State Radar systems

High proficiency in MATLAB, C++ or Python Flexibility to work non-standard work shifts and weekends as required by the supported program U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret

level clearance

Desired Skills:

Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent Radar systems development experience,

including signal processing, algorithms, software,

data analysis, and modeling & simulation

Hands-on experience with RF systems or

antenna testing including near-field and far-field

measurement techniques

Experience in Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD)

and Anti-Aircraft Warfare (AAW) concepts and

design implementation

Technical leadership experience with program

execution

Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics

and problem-solving skills

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $90,200 - $159,045. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
