Job Summary



We are looking for a skilled Developer/Business Analyst to design, implement, and maintain internal web applications, oversee labeling platforms and workflows within our Warehouse Management System (WMS), and develop solutions utilizing proprietary software. This position acts as the primary support contact for internal systems and requires close collaboration with operational stakeholders to collect, assess, and convert business requirements into robust technical solutions that enhance operational efficiency in a manufacturing or plant setting.


Essential Functions



Design, develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS and PHP Write efficient SQL queries, develop stored procedures and functions, and manage data within relational databases Develop and enhance features within a proprietary warehouse management system, adapting to unique programming tools and environments Provide support for manufacturing execution systems, labeling platforms, and warehouse management solutions Collaborate with development team to implement new features and improve existing functionality Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues as they arise Stay current with emerging web technologies and programming languages Serve as a business analyst, engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements Create user stories, use cases, and functional requirements documents

Job Qualifications



Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field*
2+ years of experience in web development with strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS*
Demonstrated ability to understand, maintain, and enhance existing codebases and applications*
Proven willingness to learn and work with proprietary or legacy technologies*
Solid understanding of web development best practices and design patterns*
Strong SQL skills, including writing efficient queries and developing stored procedures/functions*
Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail*
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities*
Ability to serve as a business analyst and effectively gather requirements from stakeholders*

Preferred

Familiarity with Git and other version control systems*
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies*
Background in supporting manufacturing, warehouse, or labeling technology solutions such as BarTender or similar software*
Experience supporting manufacturing execution systems, labeling platforms, and warehouse management solutions*

Environment



Primarily in-office work environment, with employees expected to be onsite four days a week; any remote work arrangement requires manager approval. Standard work hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; however, occasional after-hours or weekend work may be needed to meet project deadlines or provide support. Travel as needed; up to 10%
