CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in planning, design, and configuration of systems integration processes within the

Rhapsody Integration Engine (v6+)

. Develop, enhance, and support HL7, XML, and SOAP-based integration routes for eCR and ELR data exchange. Lead code reviews, testing, validation, deployment, and post-implementation support activities. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and public health partners to modernize legacy data systems and optimize workflows. Monitor data routes, troubleshoot integration issues, and ensure high system availability. Conduct gap analyses and gather requirements for disease surveillance and laboratory systems. Provide technical mentorship, best practice guidance, and hands-on problem resolution. Create and maintain detailed system documentation, architecture diagrams, and status reports. Support Rhapsody upgrades, system performance improvements, and compliance with security standards (HIPAA, PHI, PII, CJIS). Participate in data migrations, interface development, and proactive monitoring implementation.

Required Skills:

5 years - Rhapsody Integration Engine (v6+)

5 years - Symphonia Mapping Language (SML)

5 years - HL7 (v2.3.1-2.5.1; ORU & ORM message types)

2 years - XML / XSD / XPATH

3 years - SQL (advanced joins, stored procedures)

5 years - JavaScript (ECMA/E4X)

2 years - Web Services (SOAP)

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Experience with secure data handling, CDC, HIPAA, and PHI standards

Preferred Skills:

Rhapsody Certification ECR / eICR / RR / CDA / CCDA experience 1+ year Windows Server OS Administration Experience in Public Health / Disease Surveillance / LIMS environments Familiarity with LOINC / SNOMED standards DevOps tools such as JIRA and CI/CD pipelines Experience with SDLC documentation, Visio/Flow diagrams Large-scale data integration, migration, and modernization experience

Education:

Bachelor's Degree

in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

OR

9 years of equivalent professional experience.
