Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled System Design Specialist to support the configuration, optimization, and implementation of digital learning initiatives within the Yum! Global Learning Management System (LMS). In this role, you will help design and sustain a best-in-class learning ecosystem that empowers our global teams to learn, grow, and perform.


The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, an analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners across brands and markets.


Key Responsibilities




Configure, test, and optimize new LMS features and connected learning technologies. Leverage ETL processes, Microsoft Power Automate, and other automation tools to streamline workflows, improve data accuracy, and enhance system efficiency. Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless learning experiences and system reliability across global markets. Develop and maintain strong knowledge of APIs and data integrations to connect the LMS with other enterprise applications across Yum!'s global ecosystem. Analyze system data and usage trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. Support the development of technical documentation, process guides, and configuration standards. Collaborate on global rollouts, system updates, and digital learning projects to ensure alignment with business needs and timelines. Contribute to the ongoing design and evolution of Yum!'s global learning ecosystem.

Education & Experience




Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Learning Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2-4 years of hands-on experience with enterprise technologies, learning systems, or global platform administration, with working knowledge of HTML, Python, XML, and JSON. Strong understanding of APIs, data integrations, and system interoperability to enable global platform connectivity. Proficient in troubleshooting, configuration management, and vendor collaboration. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively across global teams in a fast-paced environment. Experience using automation tools such as Microsoft Power Automate or similar platforms to optimize workflows.

Technical Expertise




Hands-on experience building or managing API integrations between enterprise systems. Experience with enterprise learning platforms or significant experience supporting large-scale global systems. Knowledge of data analytics, dashboards, or reporting tools (Domo, Power BI, etc.) Knowledge of ETL tools, data analytics, dashboards, or reporting tools (e.g., Domo, Power BI). Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and deliver effective solutions under tight deadlines.
