Location: Alexandria, MN


Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM


Targeted Compensation Range: $27.00 to $32.00/hr




We're looking for a

Swiss Machine Operator

What You'll Be Doing

Set up and operate Swiss CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications and production schedules. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to understand part geometry and machining requirements. Perform machine adjustments, tooling changes, and offsets to maintain part quality and machine efficiency. Monitor production runs to ensure parts meet quality standards and production goals. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges). Maintain equipment and a clean, organized, and safe work area. Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues such as tool wear or dimensional errors. Document production and quality data in accordance with company procedures. Collaborate with engineers, quality inspectors, and other operators to ensure smooth workflow and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus Minimum of 2-3 years operating, programming and setting up Swiss CNC lathes Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, feeds and speeds. Blueprint reading & GD&T familiarity is a plus. Ability to perform machine setups, change tooling, make offsets and troubleshoot issues to maintain production quality and efficiency. Experience using precision measuring instruments (caliper, micrometers, etc.) to inspect parts and ensure they meet tight tolerances. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in both set up and inspection processes. Ability to work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with team members. A focus on safety and maintaining a safe work environment.
