Responsible for operating Swiss CNC machines to produce high-quality machined parts, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Set up and run CNC machines (turning, drilling, milling, tapping).
Perform offsets, tool changes, and monitor tool wear.
Load materials and oversee machine operation.
Read blueprints and follow work instructions.
Inspect parts using precision measurement tools.
Complete production and inspection documentation.
Use ERP/computer systems and perform basic machine maintenance.
Keep work area clean and follow all safety and quality procedures.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
1-2 years CNC operator experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical shop tasks.
Good mechanical aptitude, accuracy, and basic computer skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
