Summary / Objective

We are seeking a

Production Lead

to help build and anchor our swing shift, with a primary focus on extraction. Production Leads are responsible for operating, maintaining, and optimizing processing equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality output while providing structure, communication, and accountability for their shift.

This shift will initially run

11:00 AM-7:30 PM

, with the eventual goal of operating

2:00 PM-10:30 PM

. The ideal candidate will be capable and confident working largely independently, taking ownership of swing-shift operations, and serving as the key point of continuity between shifts.

This role involves working with high-pressure systems and handling hot, viscous, and sticky materials, requiring focus, technical skill, and a strong attention to detail. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, scientifically curious, and driven by a hands-on approach to problem-solving. A high level of patience, a positive "can-do" attitude, and the ability to follow precise directions are essential.

This is a physically and mentally demanding role. Production Leads must be comfortable working on their feet for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, and collaborating with the team within a fast-paced environment, even when operating independently.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Required or Preferred Experience:

Hands-on experience processing botanical or food products, especially oils, using solvents (e.g., CO?, LPGs, alcohols) under high pressure Understanding of working with pressurized gases and temperature-controlled systems Mechanically inclined, with strong manual dexterity Excellent attention to detail and accurate math skills Background or aptitude in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, or math) is a plus Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or willingness to learn Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to thrive in a high-paced, team-oriented environment Physically fit; capable of confidently lifting 50 lbs and standing for extended periods Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE

Ability to work independently as the primary operator for the swing shift

Comfort providing structure, accountability, and clear communication as a shift lead

Primary Responsibilities

Operate production and extraction equipment according to established SOPs Maintain equipment, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for improved efficiency Accurately label, record, and track raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using the inventory control system Monitor and uphold strict quality standards throughout the production process Follow all safety protocols and health guidelines without compromise Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace Accurately document production data in a timely manner Participate in the development, revision, and execution of SOPs Contribute ideas and solutions to optimize processes and improve output

Serve as the Production Lead for the swing shift, operating largely independently while providing effective communication and continuity between shifts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
