Responsibilities



Conduct thorough inspections of pool systems including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorination systems, and plumbing to identify issues. Perform repairs on pool equipment using hand tools and power tools, ensuring all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Maintain and service pool components such as skimmers, drains, valves, and circulation systems to optimize performance. Execute routine pool cleaning tasks including brushing surfaces, vacuuming pools, balancing chemicals, and cleaning filters to uphold water quality standards. Troubleshoot mechanical problems efficiently by diagnosing issues accurately and implementing effective repair solutions. Document all maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed for record-keeping and future reference. Communicate clearly with clients about repair needs, maintenance schedules, and safety procedures to ensure customer satisfaction. Adhere to safety protocols at all times while handling equipment and chemicals to maintain a secure work environment.

Skills



Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex pool systems confidently. Experience with equipment repair including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and plumbing fixtures. Proficiency in pool maintenance tasks such as chemical balancing and water testing. Skilled in using hand tools like wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers as well as power tools required for repairs. Prior service technician experience in pool or HVAC systems is highly desirable. Ability to perform routine cleaning tasks efficiently using appropriate tools and techniques. Knowledge of safety standards related to chemical handling and electrical components associated with pool equipment.
