Responsibilities:

Teach kids aged 3 months - 12 years water safety and technique in accordance with Big Blue Swim School curriculum. Provide a fun, supportive, and safe learning environment for all students Monitor and assess students' progress and provide feedback for improvement Ensure the pool area is clean, organized, and safe at all times.

Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate instructions to students Ability to climb in and out of the pool multiple times throughout a five-hour shift and lift a minimum of 25 lbs. Applicants must be 16 years of age and able to pass a background check prior to training Ability to work a minimum of three 5-hour shifts weekly Ability to work a consistent set schedule weekly, including a weekend shift and weekday evening shifts. Ability to attend our monthly training session to maintain and progress teaching skills. Red Cross Lifeguard/CPR certification required within the first 90 days of hire. (We will provide the certification in-house).*
Experience in sports coaching, childcare, babysitting is a plus
