Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Swim Instructor Lifeguard to join our aquatic team. This role involves ensuring the safety of all swimmers while providing engaging and effective swim instruction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and experience working with diverse age groups. This position offers an opportunity to promote water safety, develop coaching skills, and contribute to a positive aquatic environment for our community members.

Responsibilities

Enforce pool rules and safety guidelines consistently and professionally. Provide swim instruction tailored to different skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers. Conduct swimming instruction with a focus on technique, water safety, and confidence building. Engage with students in a positive manner, fostering a fun and supportive learning environment. Assist with tracking student progress. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of aquatic programs.

Skills

Experience working with children or students in educational or recreational settings. Background in sports coaching or teaching physical education is highly desirable. Familiarity with behavior management techniques to effectively guide young learners. Excellent communication skills to instruct and motivate participants of all ages. Enthusiasm for promoting water safety and healthy activity habits in the community. This role is vital in creating a safe, enjoyable aquatic environment while fostering skill development among participants of all ages. We welcome candidates who are passionate about teaching water safety and sports activities in a professional setting.
Pay: $16.50 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7.0 - 25.0 per week
