Swim Coach

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Coach to join our team! As a swim coach, you will be responsible for teaching students of all ages, from infants (starting at 2 months old) to adults. Your enthusiasm, expertise, and love for water activities will help foster a positive and engaging learning environment, encouraging students to develop swimming skills and water safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach swim lessons to children and adults, following established lesson plans. Ensure a fun, safe, and positive learning environment for all participants. Educate students on water safety and proper swimming techniques. Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback. Engage with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns. Maintain a clean and safe pool environment. Collaborate with other instructors to enhance the overall swim program.

Preferred Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older. No prior swim instructor experience required--we provide in-house training! Previous experience in sports coaching, physical education, or childcare is advantageous but not necessary. Strong swimming skills (preferred but not required). CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications (preferred but not required). Strong communication skills and ability to effectively engage and motivate students. A genuine passion for teaching swimming and promoting water safety.

Job Details:

Fun, dynamic, and supportive work environment. Shifts are 4 to 5 hours. Hours of operation are after school hours and weekends. Paid training provided. Pay: $13/hour to $18/hour based on experience and qualifications.
