The Wealth Management Solutions team is responsible for delivering a highly competitive set of investment advisory program solutions. This includes the investment product offering, pricing, advisor/client experience when using the solutions, and promotional activities. The team\xe2\x80\x99s goal is to enhance our advisors\xe2\x80\x99 and investors\xe2\x80\x99 experience while helping to improve our firm\xe2\x80\x99s economic and risk profiles.

The Senior Vice President of Advisory Programs is responsible for the health, strategy, and evolution of the business line. It leads the teams that oversee LPL\xe2\x80\x99s six advisory programs and our investment strategist offering across the firm\xe2\x80\x99s various business channels. The teams\xe2\x80\x99 activities enable the firm to reach its goals related to advisory program adoption, asset growth, risk management, and profitability.

Responsibilities:

Engaging with business development, relationship management and advisors to understand the advisor experience and associated needs

Partnering with Compliance, Legal and Risk on the dynamic regulatory environment

Engaging with Finance and Strategy on potential pricing changes and how product mix shift influences economics and strategy

Working with Research, Investment Product teams and third-party money managers to fulfill program and advisor / investor needs

Collaborating with marketing and consulting on the positioning and distribution of the programs as well as supporting escalations

Leveraging industry network and insights to assess LPL\xe2\x80\x99s competitive position and create various strategies that evolve the programs in alignment with the firm\xe2\x80\x99s objectives

Distilling the strategies into discrete business opportunities, gaining alignment within the firm, and ultimately securing funding and capacity to proceed

Shepherding initiatives to completion across multiple business, product, technology, operations, and field stakeholders

Presenting at various LPL and industry events to drive LPL advisor engagement and enhance the firms\xe2\x80\x99 competitive intelligence

Requirements:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required; CFA or MBA preferred

15+ years of experience with 10+ years of specific experience in managing investment advisory platforms

Knowledgeable on the advisory landscape with a focus on advisor platform experience and UMAs including familiarity with competition (wire houses, technology platform providers, IB/Ds, TAMPs, etc.), platform/ product trends and industry regulation

Deep understanding of investment products, advisory / industry economics, and regulatory challenges

Core Competencies:

Demonstrated leadership driving change across large, complex organizations

Strong collaborator and consensus builder that can leverage internal and external relationships to achieve desired outcomes

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management

Experience with agile product management principals preferred

Pay Range: $183,080-$274,620/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
