What you'll do

Provide outstanding customer service by welcoming guests and guiding them through the menu, including sushi selections and specials. Take accurate orders ensuring all requests are met with precision. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Manage multiple tables efficiently while demonstrating excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to create an inviting atmosphere for guests. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Foster positive guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.

Basic qualifications

Previous restaurant experience in a sushi bar or Japanese restaurant setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Valid Clark County Health Card Valid Clark County TAM Card

Preferred qualifications

Culinary experience or knowledge of Japanese cuisine is a plus. Familiarity with OpenTable reservation systems is advantageous. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Experience as a host/host or in guest services is beneficial.
