We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sushi Prep Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and an understanding of sushi-making techniques. Previous management experience required. We are located inside the Sam's Club in Mayaguez.?
Duties
Prepare sushi rice, vegetables, and other ingredients according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the assembly of sushi rolls, sashimi, and other menu items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Utilize proper knife skills for slicing fish and vegetables with precision.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and assist in ordering supplies.
Create weekly shift schedules based on the need of the business.
Be the focal point of communication with Sam's Club's fresh managers.
Track and analyze sales data to increase revenue.
Experience
Experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is required.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is required.
Minimum of 1 year of management experience required.
Minimum of 1 year of sushi preparation experience required.
Job Type: Contract
Base Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
