Duties

Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi dishes with precision and artistry, ensuring high standards of presentation and taste Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station in accordance with food safety regulations Handle all aspects of food preparation including slicing, rolling, and plating sushi with skillful knife techniques Manage inventory levels of ingredients, ensuring freshness and proper storage practices Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service during busy hours Uphold strict food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times

Experience

Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or fine dining setting Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi techniques Experience with food preparation, cooking, and food handling in a professional kitchen environment Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in the culinary industry Skills in knife handling, meal preparation, and food presentation are essential Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
