Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sushi preparation and fine dining, with a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for crafting exquisite sushi dishes that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of presentation and taste.

We are only open for Dinner time.

Working hours starts at 2:30 PM to Close

Must be able to work on the weekends.

Responsibilities

Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls, with attention to detail and artistic flair. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and standards. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area. Manage inventory of sushi ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality at all times. Assist in training kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques and food handling practices. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and accommodating special dietary requests.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar culinary role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods related to sushi preparation. Experience in fine dining establishments is highly desirable. Background in menu planning, catering, or dietary department experience is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
