We are looking for a

Helper

to assist our land surveying crew chief in the field. This is a hands-on, outdoor position that involves working on construction sites, undeveloped land, and various project locations.

What you'll do

Assist the Crew Chief in setting up and operating surveying instruments Carry and set up equipment such as tripods, prisms, and GPS units Mark and stake property boundaries, construction sites, and elevation points Clear brush and obstacles from survey lines Record field notes and measurements as needed Ensure proper care and maintenance of survey tools and equipment Follow safety guidelines and work efficiently in all weather conditions

Minimum Requirements

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains Willingness to learn and follow instructions Basic math and measurement skills Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs of equipment Good physical condition and stamina for walking long distances

Preferred Qualifications

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Experience in land surveying, construction, or outdoor labor is a plus but not required
