Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is on the lookout for a motivated and dependable

Survey Field Helper

to support our Survey Crew based in

Laurel, Maryland.

If you enjoy working outdoors and want to kickstart a career in land surveying, this is a great opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in a hands-on environment.


As a Survey Field Helper, you'll play an essential role in assisting the Survey Crew Chief with a variety of field tasks. Your responsibilities will include:


Helping gather and document survey data for boundary, topographic, and construction surveys Setting up and handling survey equipment Clearing survey areas as needed Measuring distances and assisting in recording accurate field data

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work in an outdoor setting and are eager to grow their skills in the surveying and construction industry. While prior experience or familiarity with construction plans and stakeout methods is a plus, it's not required--we're happy to train the right candidate.


To qualify, you must have:




A valid driver's license with a clean driving record A high school diploma or equivalent The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Basic math skills A strong work ethic and willingness to work outside in all types of weather
